Ship or pick up?
That's an easy answer: Picking up goods from our headquarters doesn't make any sense, as we're way out in the country. Any drive for a single item would cost way more (both in money and environmental cost) than you'd pay for shipping.
As of January 2026, we only ship with UPS. We've got more than 30 years of experience with distant selling, so we know how to pack things properly. For quite some time now, we've been avoiding plastics and even developed sustainable packing materials with a German partner.
Every order that is paid before 11:00am on a working day is shipped same-day. If the shop accepts an order, it really means that we have stock, or it's clearly displayed as a pre-order.
Returns
According to distant selling laws, you have a 14-day right of revocation, without having to tell us your reasons. You've probably heard and read this a number of times before, but there's one more detail to this law that we'd like to point you to: These 14 days only start on the day that the parcel arrives at your place.
You're paying for the return journey, and we'll refund the original shipping fee (in case of a non-partial revocation), plus of course the value of the returned goods.
